Cardholder Safety Tips
· Your Debit Card is like a ‘key’ to your account(s). The card should never be "lent" to anyone, including friends and family.
· Always protect your PIN, which is your electronic signature. You should memorize it, never write it down, and never disclose it to anyone.
· When selecting a PIN, always avoid the obvious - e.g. name, street number, telephone number, date of birth, etc.
· Never let your Debit Card out of sight when conducting a transaction.
· When conducting any transaction, use your hand or body to shield your PIN.
· After completing a transaction, always remember to retrieve your Debit Card and, if provided, your transaction record.
· If the card is lost, stolen or retained by an ATM, you should notify IC Savings immediately using the numbers below and report any theft incident to the police.
