Submitting a Request

Please note that our second funding cycle is now open. Applications will be accepted until 5pm, Tuesday, July 31st. An announcement about which projects will be funded will be made in late September 2018.

Through Fundo de Apoio IC Savings donations and grants are provided to registered local charities, community groups and associations that are committed to enhancing the Portuguese Canadian footprint in the Greater Toronto Area.

We ask that the following information be included in your application for funding:

  •     Name of the registered charity, community group or association
  •     Registered charitable number
  •     Mailing address
  •     Phone number
  •     Name of individual(s) submitting the application and contact e-mail(s)
  •     Level of financial support that is being requested
  •     Timeline for implementation. Please note that projects submitted for funding should be completed by January 31, 2019.
  •     In 250 words, please explain the social, cultural and/or economic impacts and expected outcomes that this investment will support. The application must clearly communicate the  impact(s) of this investment.
You are invited to provide any back-up documentation like annual reports, letters of  support and financial statements, if available, to support your submission.

Once your submission is complete, please e-mail it to community@icsavings.ca. It is to be submitted no later than 5pm, Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
